Protecting our children and our family values

Our nation and our state were founded on social conservative, pro-life, and pro-family values. As your State Senator, I will work hard to pass legislation protecting those values.

Today the internet is growing faster than we ever thought imaginable. Although the internet is advancing our society and connecting people around the world, it is also being used as a tool to degrade our values and target our children. Unfortunately our children are being bombarded by pornography and violence. Online predators can reach their victims faster and easier, thanks to the cloak of anonymity offered by the Internet.

There is absolutely nothing more important than the safety of our children. A parent shouldn’t have to worry about their child being harmed, but we are hearing about it more and more on the news everyday. Not only will I support efforts to strengthen penalties on child predators, I will lead the charge.
